Your current pricing will not change. If we introduce new, faster speed tiers or plan options in the future, we will reach out to you directly so you can choose the plan that best fits your needs.

For now, nothing changes. Continue paying your bill the same way you do today, whether that is through the Velocity app, by mail or with auto-pay.

In the coming weeks, we’ll transition you to IdeaTek’s billing system. Before that happens, you’ll receive clear instructions and plenty of notice.

Yes, for the time being, you can continue to use the same local drop-off points you’ve always used. We will notify you if these locations change in the future.

Yes, you will eventually receive a new IdeaTek account number once we migrate to our upgraded billing system. This change happens automatically, so there’s nothing you need to do. Your new account number will be clearly highlighted on your first IdeaTek bill.

Yes, your email will continue to work for now. While we will eventually phase out Velocity email domains, this will be a gradual process. Our priority is making sure you have plenty of time to transition. We recommend setting up a personal email address – like Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo. We will work closely with you to ensure you are fully set up to receive billing and service updates at your new address long before any changes are made to your current email.

Not right now. Your current modem and router will continue to provide the reliable service you expect. As we integrate our networks to offer even faster fiber-optic speeds, we may reach out to schedule a free equipment upgrade. If an update is needed for your home or business, we will coordinate everything with you directly to ensure a smooth, zero-cost transition.
