You can qualify for IdeaTek's Essential Access Program if you're currently eligible for any of these government programs and/or your income situation:

Follow the steps below to apply for discounted pricing through IdeaTek’s Essential Access Program. Email [email protected] if you have any questions.

Sign up for IdeaTek Service
Sign up for IdeaTek before applying for discounts to ensure service is available at your address.
To receive the $35.90 monthly discount, choose the lowest-tier plan available in your area (i.e. Basic, Basic Plus, or Intro) when signing up.
- You will not be charged until service is installed.
- If your application is delayed or denied, you may reschedule or cancel your installation at no cost.

Create an Account with the National Verifier
Next, create an account using the federal National Verifier form to confirm eligibility for the Lifeline program.

Sign Up for Lifeline
After creating your account, click “Start Lifeline Application” in the “My Applications” section. Complete the form and upload the required documents to confirm eligibility.
Ensure you have received confirmation of your Lifeline enrollment before moving on.
Write down your Lifeline Application ID number — you’ll need it for the next step.

Notify IdeaTek of Your Lifeline Approval
Complete the IdeaTek Lifeline Confirmation form with the EXACT same information submitted on the National Verifier application in step 3. Our billing team will review your submission and contact you if we need any additional information.
- Current customers: Allow one full billing cycle for the discount to appear on your bill.
- Discounts will not apply to past balances.
- Customers must recertify eligibility for Lifeline each year to keep the discount.
- If you transfer the discount to another provider or fail to recertify, all IdeaTek discounts will be removed.
