Giving back because it’s right
It’s not enough to provide the fastest internet in the world. To truly serve a community best, we must be involved and give back. From donations to the local booster club to membership in chambers of commerce, we’re committed to supporting the communities in which we’re privileged to do business.
How We Support Communities
Donations and Corporate Sponsorships
We support a wide range of groups that meet our core focus areas, and we are always looking for new ways to support our communities. If you have a great idea, we want to know about it. We enjoy working side-by-side with people who work for the businesses and organizations in the communities we support.
Volunteers
Volunteering is part of who we are. We are proud that our employees generously share their time and talents to benefit the community.
Low Income Assistance
Being connected is essential. And our mission of internet freedom for all means we think everyone should have access to fast, reliable internet and phone service and the opportunities it provides. That’s why we offer Lifeline discounts to qualifying low-income households in our service area.
Free Community Wi-Fi
We are providing Internet Freedom™ through public Wi-Fi hotspots. They’re free, accessible, and ready for you when you need it.
Broadband Advocacy
We advocate for policy that will ensure broadband investments bring economic growth, innovation and competitiveness to Kansas with strong relationships at all levels of government.
Donation Request Form
All requests must be submitted online. Our donation committee meets monthly to review requests. Priority consideration is given to our core focus areas: Community Development, Education, Youth Development, Technology, Health & Wellness
- Please Submit requests at least one month in advance.
- For event sponsorships, submit requests at least three months in advance.
- Priority will be given to charitable organizations, community events, and causes.
- Requests from religious groups or churches will only be considered if the programs and projects benefit the broad community.
What Communities Say
The free public Wi-Fi is awesome! Whether you don’t have internet at home or have come to town and need to send a couple quick emails or if you’re visiting from out of town and need to check in with work – it’s a great asset for downtown Cottonwood Falls. it’s just another way that IdeaTek cares about their customers!
