GARDEN CITY, Kansas – A faster, more connected future has arrived in Garden City. IdeaTek is making an $8 million investment to deliver a blazing-fast, 100% fiber network to the city, setting a new standard of connectivity.
The Buhler-based internet provider is delivering unlimited, uncapped speeds of up to 8 gigabits per second — cutting-edge performance that is far beyond what other providers can offer. The project will give 11,200 homes and businesses the reliability and bandwidth they need for generations to come.
Garden City Area Chamber of Commerce Myca Bunch applauded IdeaTek’s commitment to bring fiber internet to the Finney County seat, calling it a great step toward community growth.

The IdeaTek sales team is currently scheduling installations in many of the city’s connected neighborhoods. Construction is continuing in other areas, with plans to complete the build later this summer.
