The IdeaTek Scholarship Program celebrates graduating high school seniors in our service areas who are ready to pursue their dreams and make a difference. We want to hear your story—no minimum GPA required, just your vision for the future and your commitment to your community!

Requirements

High School Senior graduating in May 2026
Live in IdeaTek's Service Area
No Minimum GPA Required – we believe in passion over perfection
Priority is given to students whose parents/legal guardians are IdeaTek customers

What You'll Need

1. Video Submission (5-10 minutes)

Tell us your story! Your video should address:

What are you passionate about? What career do you want to pursue, and why?

Where do you see yourself in the future? What are your biggest dreams?
Where Will Your Passion Take You?
How do you plan to turn your passion into action?
What Does This Scholarship Mean to You?
How would receiving this scholarship impact your journey?
How Will You Give Back to Your Community? Share your ideas for making a positive difference where you live.

Filming tips: Use your smartphone, find good lighting and be yourself! Accepted formats: MP4, MOV.

2. Letter of Recommendation

One letter from a school administrator, teacher or community business leader who knows you well.

Submited as PDF (max 2 pages)

3. Senior Photo

Provide a senior picture for publicity purposes.

JPEG or PNG format

All files must be labeled in the following format: LastName_FirstName_DocumentType_Year (e.g., Smith_John_Video_2026, Smith_John_Letter_2026, Smith_John_Photo_2026)

Selection Process

Our scholarship committee reviews all applications for:

Creativity and authenticity
Clear vision for the future
Commitment to community impact
Passion and drive

Winners will be notified in May 2026. We may contact applicants for additional information during the review process.

Award Details

Funds will be sent directly to your chosen educational institution*
Applicable to accredited colleges, universities and trade schools
Includes award presentation at school ceremony or special event
Recipients will be featured on IdeaTek's website and social media

*Award funds must be applied toward tuition and/or qualified educational expenses and cannot be disbursed directly to the student. Applicants whose tuition and other education expenses (i.e. room & board) are fully covered by other scholarships, grants, or financial aid are not eligible.
